What this site collects
Visitor statistics. The site uses Jetpack Stats, the audience measurement built into WordPress.com. It records the pages viewed, the date and time, the type of device and browser, the page you came from, and an IP address used to locate the visit by country and then not kept in clear form. This data tells us which pages are read, nothing else.
Nothing else. This site has no form, no account, no sign-up. It displays no advertising. It uses neither Google Analytics, nor a Meta pixel, nor any advertising tracker. We checked this on the page as it is served.
On what basis
Our legitimate interest in measuring the audience of our own website, within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Who else has access
Automattic, the publisher of WordPress.com, which hosts this site and provides its statistics. For residents of the European Union, the contracting entity is Aut O’Mattic A8C Ireland Ltd., based in Dublin. Some processing is carried out by its parent company Automattic Inc., in the United States, under the safeguards provided for by the European regulation.
Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or transfer any data.
For how long
Visitor statistics are kept by WordPress.com in aggregated form. We build no visitor file on our side.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookie, and no audience-measurement cookie subject to your consent. WordPress.com sets the technical cookies needed for the site to work and, if you are otherwise logged in to a WordPress.com account, cookies linked to that account.
If you write to us
We keep your message and your contact details for as long as it takes to handle your request, then for three years from our last exchange, so that we can pick up the thread if you come back to us. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time.
What will change, and when
We are preparing online booking and a preparation questionnaire. The day they go into service, this page will be updated before them, with the names of the providers concerned, the data collected and the retention periods.
Our clients’ data
This page concerns visitors to this site. The data we process as part of an engagement, on behalf of a client, falls under the contract between us. Our commitments on this point are described on The lab.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. Write to us at contact@6h42lab.com, we reply within one month.
If our reply does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, cnil.fr.
